We had an amazing stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives and would like to thank the wonderful team who made our holiday so special. A special mention to Manoj, Ruth, Latheef, Rayyan, Leem, and Ussham from Reception for their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help throughout our stay.
From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was smooth and well organized. The speedboat transfers were seamless with no waiting time, making the journey stress-free. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, excellent food, and comfortable rooms.
We were delighted to receive a room upgrade and had the opportunity to experience both the Beach Bungalow with Pool and the Over Water Suite, which made our stay even more memorable.
What truly stood out was the way the team helped make our child's birthday special. They surprised us with a beautiful cake and thoughtful service that created wonderful memories for our family.
Thank you to everyone at Cinnamon Dhonveli for your warm hospitality and exceptional service. We highly recommend this resort and look forward to visiting again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic from start to finish !!
The location is super convenient—just a short ride from the airport—and the beach bungalow was wonderful. The beach itself was spotless.
What truly made our trip exceptional was the incredible dining experience and service:
- Sous Chef Dilshan constantly looked out for us, making us feel so welcome and always seeking feedback on the food.
- The Executive Chef made a point to check in regularly about any special dietary needs or preferences.
- Hiruni and Afnaan provided top-notch service at our table, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great meal. The service by Bhagya was excellent too.
- The live action station chefs were incredibly talented, and Leo was absolutely cool!
- The Bangladeshi housekeeper was very efficient and friendly

We stayed at Cinnamon Dhonveli for our honeymoon and loved every moment. The location was stunning, with clear waters and a beautiful beach, and the rooms were spacious and spotless.
A special mention goes to Kasun and Nipuni from the front office, whose warm hospitality truly elevated our stay. From the moment we checked in, they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, always ready with a genuine smile and attentive to even the smallest details. They took the time to check in on us throughout our stay, offering helpful recommendations and making sure any request, big or small, was taken care of promptly. Their thoughtfulness and personal touch made us feel completely at home, even while surrounded by the beauty of the Maldives.
Mahesh also deserves a mention for his excellent service and impressive cocktail skills, he made our evenings so much fun.
Overall a wonderful stay with fantastic scenery and staff who truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend Cinnamon Dhonveli for a romantic island getaway.

We have been to Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives three times over the past several years and it’s been a wonderful experience every time. One of the main reasons we go is so that my husband can surf at Pasta Point, but we bring the whole family because there is something for us all to enjoy and it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. Here’s a few highlights and tips:
- For surfers, the surfer package with Atoll Adventures is a must. Dara and his team are the absolute best – Anoof, Anni, Niboo, Nazim and Illu. My husband never gets sick of surfing at Pasta Point and the option to take boats to Sultans or Jail Break is nice as well. We also love being able to hang out at the Raahlu bar and watch all the surfers right from the deck. Always a great time! Harry offers a video package for surfers and we've also done a family photo shoot with him and the photos were amazing!
- We highly recommend snorkeling and SUPing right in the lagoon, where you can see an array of fish, rays, and reef sharks. There are also great snorkel boat trips through the resort and/or the dive shop.
- The entire staff at the resort is incredible but I have special shoutouts to the staff at the Dalchini restaurant – Bhagya, Lasaan, Debi, the lady at the salad bar that I didn’t catch her name and more. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We miss them already. And the food!
- The unlimited laundry service was a gamechanger during our recent visit and totally worth it. Especially for those with kids and/or people who want to pack less but still have clean, fresh clothes. Senanayaka picked up a bag of laundry for us every morning and had them washed, folded and returned to us by the afternoon.
- I loved doing yoga by the pool and the instructor, Shreya, was lovely.
- The spa is incredible and the staff is very good. I’ve enjoyed every spa treatment I’ve done there.
- For families, the resort is very family-friendly. Our kids love the lagoon, pool and playground, and the resort occasionally does cooking experiences for kids at the sunset bar. Our kids participated in one with a pastry chef and got to decorate cupcakes, cake pops, cookies and donuts. The staff was very sweet with the kids. So fun!

Awesome place to relax and get away from it all. If you book a suite you get access to an exclusive dining room, pool, and pool bar. Food at every meal was varied, delicious, and you could have some items made to order. Flip flops are pretty much all you need on your feet, water shoes helpful when wading due to sharp coral. Didn't see any mosquitos. Staff is extraordinarily friendly. If you want to tip, bring some US dollars.
