Canareef Resort Maldives sits on the private Herathera Island in Addu Atoll — the southernmost atoll of the Maldives and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve that actually crosses the equator. Roughly 540 km south of Malé and over 500 km from the main tourist cluster, Addu is remote, biodiverse, and wonderfully uncrowded, with pristine house-reef snorkeling and 25+ dive sites including the famous British Loyalty WWII wreck.
