One Piece star Taz Skylar becomes a Global Ambassador for the Maldives
Taz Skylar, star of Netflix’s record-breaking live-action One Piece series, has been named a Visit Maldives Global Ambassador.
The appointment brings the Maldives into the international spotlight through one of today’s most influential global entertainment figures. Skylar, who plays Sanji – the Straw Hat Pirates’ charismatic chef – will highlight the Maldives’ breathtaking nature, unique adventures, cultural richness, and sustainable tourism initiatives during his ambassadorship.
On Instagram, Skylar has 1.8 million followers and frequently gets over 300 comments and 45,000 likes on his photos. According to VMC, he will be able to promote Maldives travel to a large international audience thanks to his well-liked position on the international scene.
Events showcasing Maldivian food and other fascinating features will take place during Skylar’s August 27–September 15 tour to the Maldives.
The Maldives, already a powerhouse in the tourism industry, will surely increase it’s reach with such ambassadors.
